• I ordered my cake here about 2 months in advance for my BF bday. I want a motorcycle shaped cake with some details. I called around and ask if it is possible, and she said YES :D The price was within my budget as well! The order experience: very pleasant. Amy is extremely helpful and detail. The outcome: The cake looks amazing :) Check out the pictures! My bf was blown away!The cake: Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting (eggless), great for vegan and vegetarian since most of my friends do not eat eggs. The cake was surprisingly moist and yummy. All my friends enjoyed it so much and I think they all over eat cake that day.Overall, Amy deserved 5 starts for this cake! Head's up: Order your cake early as she is always busy and often booked. - Van
• My fiance and I are getting married in August and ended up choosing Amy's SweetCakes after looking at many many places in the Bay Area. Amy let us go to her house and have cake samples and talk to us about what we wanted with the cake, very hospitable. Her husband is also involved with the business and explained round cakes vs square cakes and any other questions we had. So far Amy has emailed me to let me know of any new updates and responds to my emails immediately about flavor questions.Also, SHE WAS BY FAR THE CHEAPEST COST!! And believe me, her cakes taste AMAZING, you will not be "settling" for anything just because it's cheaper. Definitely worth it. We are getting 3 layers: chocolate mousse with vanilla frosting, strawberry cake with lemon frosting, and possibly oreo or champagne for the 3rd layer. She has so many flavors and you can mix and match with the frostings :) - Kristina
• So amazing! Amy did a great job making my daughter's cake for her 15th Birthday party! The cake was exactly how we envisioned it and better! The cake was also very moist and delicious! Thanks Amy! • I ordered the banana cake with whipped cream frosting.  It was absolutely divine!  It had fresh bananas and the cake itself was moist and very banana-y.  I have ordered banana cakes at popular bakeries and it does not compare!  The birthday boy requested banana since he loves banana and I have to say that this is his ultimate favorite!   Everyone in my party loved it.  I even gave samples to our servers at the restaurant since they were eyeing it...and they were raving about how they never found the right banana cake!  Well, we all found it. Thanks Amy!  In addition, Amy is great to work with.  She responds quickly and answers all your questions.  I cannot wait to try other flavors!!! - Lo
• I first discovered Amy's bakery last year, when my friend had told me she had a good experience using her services for her son's birthday. I was a little apprehensive at first because I had never gone with an out of home baker before, but I thought I would give it a try. It was good then and it was even better this time around. Last time, I had ordered red velvet with cream cheese frosting with simple decorations and they were melt in my mouth good. This time around, I needed a cake for my own son's birthday and Amy really put out all the stops on this one. My son loves Winnie the Pooh and he really wanted a cake with all of the characters. Amy handmade all of the figures on the cake and the likeness was really spectacular. I added a picture so that people can see it. Thank you Amy! - Shawna
• Tasty, tasty, tasty! That's all I can say about this place. I ordered Minnie Mouse themed cake and cupcakes and they were both delicious and cute as a button. Being from the South, I had high expectations for red velvet cake, so when I hesitated a little, Amy assured me it would be good. She was right. At first bite, both myself and my guests were very pleased with the red velvet and it did this southern girl justice. The price wasn't bad at all either. But the best part was my very happy daughter. - Myra
