1. How do you price your offerings?
Pricing is based on many factors: cake size, complexity of shape and design, the number of guests, etc. If you email us for a quote we will be glad to give you a custom price tailored to your order. Please see our PRICES menu for more details.

2. How do I place my order?
You can place your order with us through email. Email is the best form of communication since it ensures information doesn't get lost in translation. When emailing us, please provide the following information:

Name of person celebrated
Your contact info
Desired flavors, fillings, etc.
Pictures of ideas plus desired color scheme
How many guests attending
Any other order details that you feel are important

3. Do you deliver?
Yes! We will deliver anywhere within 100 miles of Redwood City, California. Delivery fees start at $15 for local Redwood City and go up from there based on location and how many miles we have to drive.

4. Where do I pick up my order?
Pick up can be arranged at a designated location in Redwood City, California.

5. How many cake/cupcake flavors can I choose for my order?
The number of cake or cupcake flavors chosen is based on how many cupcakes you order and how  many tiers of cake you want. For example, if you  have a three tiered cake, you can choose up to three different flavors. For cupcakes you can choose a different cupcake flavor for every twelve cupcakes you order.

6. Is there a minimum order on cupcakes?
The minimum order for cupcakes is six. Occasionally we will do an individual cupcake to go along with a cake order.

7. I don't know what design I want. Can you make me a sketch?
We are more than happy to create a sketch for you, but because of the time it takes, we only offer sketches after you have booked. The internet is filled with pictures to hep you gain some ideas of what you might want, so please send those pics to us when emailing us for a quote. Please keep in mind that we do not replicate cakes. We want your order to be absolutely unique to you!

8. Is everything made from scratch?

Yes, unless otherwise requested. All orders are from scratch which includes cake, cupcakes, cookie dough, frostings, fillings, etc.

9. How do I pay for my order?
All orders are paid using either check or cash. Checks can be sent to our address, which we will give you before you send payment.

10. Do you require a deposit to book  my order?
Yes. A 50% deposit is required on all orders. Deposits can be made with check and sent to our address. Once we receive your deposit, we will email you a confirmation of your booking.

11. Are refunds given?
No, unless damage occurs to your cake during delivery. If we are responsible for the damage, we will gladly refund.

12. What if something happens to my order once I receive it?
We are not responsible for damage or any other unforeseen circumstance to your order once you leave with it. If something happens to it while we are with you, we will be more than happy to fix the problem.

13. Is there a contract I have to sign?
A contract is mandatory for all wedding orders. Generally contracts are not given for most other orders, but if you want one, we are more than happy to draft one up for you.

14. Do you offer tastings?
B and B Bakery is based out of our home and due to privacy concerns we no longer offer tastings at our home location. However, for weddings and large orders we will meet with you at a designated location in Redwood City for you to sample our cakes.
